Join the KFNA Board!
The Kingfield Neighborhood Association is recruiting Volunteer Board Members
The Kingfield Neighborhood Association (KFNA) is a community-based nonprofit that covers the area of 36th to 46thStreet and 35W to the middle of Lyndale Avenue. The mission of the organization is “Serving Kingfield by creating connections, building community, and fostering engagement.”
KFNA has spent over 30 years creating community safety by connecting neighbors to each other, building a thriving small business and nonprofit network where our business owners and nonprofit leaders are valued members of our neighborhood, and problem solving with neighbors by being the bridge to the City of Minneapolis regarding projects, planning, and issues. KFNA has created a series of innovative projects that celebrate our residents and their talents including Porchfest, Empty Bowls, decades of visual art shows, the conceptualization and testing of the first utility box wraps in the City, stormwater management demonstration sites, establishment and care of the Donation Garden at MLK Park and Community Orchard, and over seventy pieces of public art including the Walldogs on Nicollet project.
KFNA is currently recruiting to fill 7 of the 13 Volunteer Board Member Seats.
Consider how you can be part of the Kingfield Neighborhood Association by learning more about the Roles and Responsibilities of the Board, and consider applying for a two year term at the link found here.
