Make a plan with your neighbors so together you can plan a festive, but smaller, safer Halloween event. Share these plans on the Kingfield Facebook Group to give other blocks ideas and ensure smaller and safer activities throughout the neighborhood!
Some creative ideas:
- Host a block costume parade for kids and pooches past appreciative neighbors.
- Set up a candy-slide with a PVC pipe from your front door.
- Clothes-pin individual wrapped candies to a tree in your front yard and shine a Halloween lantern on it.
- And, if you do not want trick-or-treaters coming to your door—as usual, just turn off all your house lights.
